Story Analysis Exercise for Results-Based Accountability

The following form can be used to help groups and individuals understand the Results-Based Accountability thinking process. Ask people to read a story of a successful "turn the curve" effort. Use the form to enter the elements of the story which fit the ideas below. Provide time for small groups to discuss their answers. And then draw out the answers in a large group process.

There are a series of such stories which can be readily used for this purpose in the Case Studies section. The most useful are the turn the curve stories, such as those from Tillamook County or Santa Cruz County. Click here to view case studies.
